How to Get Started:

• Secure employment with a IBEW Local 354 electrical contractor.
• Upon being hired or offered a position by a contractor, you must complete and pass a drug test. Come to the Utah Electrical Training Alliance for drug test information. Results are typically available within 24–48 hours.
• Complete the State of Utah Apprentice Electrical License application. The licensing fee is $116.
• Initiate membership with IBEW Local 354 and sign your dispatch slip.
