Programs we offer
There are currently 800 apprentices enrolled in the Utah Electrical Training Alliance (UETA). We offer a choice of two different electrical career paths, each focusing on a specific area of the electrical industry.
Inside Wireman
Plans, lays out, modifies, repairs, tests, and installs electric wiring, equipment, and apparatus for power, light, communications, and control systems in residential and commercial buildings and industrial plants; uses electrician’s hand tools, various electrical testing devices, and soldering and welding equipment.
Telecommunication
While the Inside Wireman is installing the conduit and power feeders on a project, the Installer Technician is working beside the Wireman, installing the network of low voltage cabling that is used for video, voice and data or other low voltage signaling.
