APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications for the Inside Wireman and Telecommunications apprenticeship programs are accepted year-round.
The application processing fee is $30.00.

- Select an apprenticeship program
- Complete the demographics section
- Click on acknowledgements(if you don’t have hours, skip those acknowledgements)
- Click on Start Application
Submit Required Documents (within 30 days of application)
- Birth Certificate
- High School Transcript of Grades
- Proof of High School Graduation or GED Certificate and Scores
- Proof of Algebra (passing grade – one year or equivalent.)
Application Review
- Once your application is complete, you will be notified via email of the next available aptitude test date and scheduled accordingly.
Aptitude Test
- The test will be administered at the Utah Electrical Training Alliance Training Center
- You must achieve a “Pass” on the Electrical Industry Aptitude Test, developed and validated by the American Institutes for Research, to be eligible for an interview.
Interview
- Interviews take place on an as-needed basis during the year.
- The interviewers will consider appearance, reliability, interest, attitude, cooperativeness, and dependability.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be scheduled for the aptitude test or an oral interview. Their application will be closed, and they must reapply once they meet the minimum qualifications.

**NOTICE** Our contractors’ jurisdiction covers the entire state of Utah, from Logan to St. George. You can be assigned to work anywhere within the State. It is essential that you are willing and able to travel and work wherever the job requires.
