APPLICATION PROCESS
To be scheduled for an aptitude test, the oral interview and to be considered for the apprenticeship program, the following steps must be completed during your application process:

- Click on Apply Now
- You will need to “Create Account”
- Once your account is approved you will receive an email notifying you that your account is active, and you will then be able to start the application.
- You will log in with the email and password that you sent in. Once you are logged in you will be asked if you have any hours, if you do not you can move past that question without clicking any boxes.
- You will need to submit all required documents online within 30 days of the date of application.
- Birth Certificate
- High School Transcript of Grades
- Proof of High School Graduation or GED Certificate and Scores
- Proof of Algebra (passing grade – one year or equivalent.)
- Once your application is completed you will be notified of the next available date for the aptitude test and scheduled for that date.
- The aptitude test will be given at the Utah Electrical Training Alliance office.
- Once you pass the test, the next step will be an interview with our Committee members.
Those applicants not satisfying the above requirements will not be scheduled for the aptitude test or given an oral interview and will have to reapply during the next interview cycle if they wish to be considered.

APTITUDE TEST SCORE:
Must achieve a “Pass” on the electrical industry aptitude test. Developed and Validated by the American Institutes for Research.
APPLICANTS MEETING BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Interview: Interviews will take place on an as-needed basis during the year. The interviewers will consider; appearance, reliability, interest, attitude, judgment, cooperativeness, and dependability as well as other personal traits. Apprentices will be selected according to ranking resulting from the ratings of the Committee members.
Physical: Applicants must be physically able to do the work of the trade.
All applicants will be considered regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, or sex.
**NOTICE** Our contractors’ jurisdiction covers the entire state of Utah, from Logan to St. George. You may be assigned to or rotated between any job within this jurisdiction. It is essential that you are willing and able to travel and work wherever the job requires.
